The 2022 Guangdong High-End Forum on Rural Revitalization was successfully held online on December 17, 2022. The Forum was attended by over ten leading experts in the relevant areas from institutions including Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China, Zhejiang University, South China Agricultural University and Jinan University. The speakers shared their insights and recent research findings on topics connected with the modernization of agriculture, building of harmonious and beautiful village and social security system for rural revitalization. The Forum consisted of opening ceremony, keynote lectures and the release of the 2022 Report of Thousand-Village Survey in Guangdong in the morning, and three parallel sessions in the afternoon. The event attracted over 400 audiences.
The Guangdong High-End Forum on Rural Revitalization was an annual event of the Institute since 2021. The event provides a platform for academic exchanges and thorough discussions that helps establish theoretical frameworks for the implementation of rural revitalization policies.
