May 10th 2016, Camilla Eyring Kimball Professor Lars J. Lefgren from Brigham Young University was invited to visit IESR, Jinan University. 

During his stay in IESR, Prof.Lars J. Lefgren delivered a lecture on "Identification of Causal Effects", which attracted students from several universities.

Professor Lefgren specializes in applied microeconomics with a number of papers in the economics of education.  He received his undergraduate degree in economics from Brigham Young University and earned a PhD in business economics from the University of Chicago.

He has published in leading journals, such asJournal of Human Resources and Journal of Economic Analysis & Policy-Advances.
