Prof. Chunrong Ai, dean of Institute of Statistics and Big Data at the Renmin University of China, was invited by IESR to give a lecture on a comparative study of the Reforms of the Supply Side between China and the U.S., on 10th June 2016. The reform of the supply side has been widely discussed by a lot of people for months. This idea derives from the Supply-Side Economics in U.S.. Prof. Ai introduced the reform of supply side in the U.S., then compared them with the current reform in China. He provided a keen insight that large tax cuts, reforms of capital market and reducing government regulation are the key policies of the reform of the supply side.
