About the speaker: 

Hing Chi Jimmy Chan is a Professor of Economics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received PhD in Economics at University of California, Berkeley in 1998. After graduating, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University for several years, and then proceeded as a Professor in Fudan University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Hing Chi Jimmy Chan research interests include Microeconomics, Game Theory, Political Economics. His work has appeared in such journals as American Economic Review, The Review of Economic Studies, The RAND Journal of Economics, and many others.
