About the speaker:

Wenshu Gao is a Researcher at the Institute of Population and Labor Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Head of the Center for Human Resources Research. He is also a former Visiting Research Fellow at Nagoya University, Japan. Wenshu Gao earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2003. His main research interests are human resources management, employment and social security. Throughout his career Wenshu Gao has published extensively in Economic Research and other leading Chinese journals.
