About the speaker:

Maigeng Zhou is the deputy director, a researcher and doctoral supervisor at Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (SDC). He has a Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Health Statistics. Maigeng Zhou’s research is mainly focused on the prevention and control of chronic diseases, as well as the measurement and evaluation of public health. He has been very active in engaging with scholars and various organizations on a range of health-related topics, and he has widely published both in local and international journals (Lancet, The BMJ, etc.).
