On September 6, 2018, also commonly celebrated as the Teachers’ Day, a special assembly was held at Jinan University to honor our professors. During the ceremony, the Institute for Economic and Social Research, led by Professor Shuaizhang Feng, received the award for outstanding achievements in subject development in 2017-2018.

Over the past year, IESR has attained many great accomplishments in the fields of scientific research, talent and subject development. Shuaizhang Feng was honored to be selected to the third batch of leading talents in the national “Thousand Talents Program” in Philosophy and Social Sciences. He also received the First Outstanding Achievement Award of Philosophy and Social Sciences for his co-authored paper published in the American Economic Review.
