Tilburg University Economics Ranking has been compiled on the grounds of research contribution to the field of economics during the period of 2013–2017, which was judged on the number of publications in the subset of 35 leading journals in the fields of econometrics, economics and finance (you can find the list of those journals and check out more information on the ranking here).
As demonstrated in the table below, Jinan University has made a significant jump in the Tilburg University Economics Ranking over the past few years, thus becoming one of the finest schools for economics not only in China but in Asia as well.

Considering the significant IESR growth since the day of its founding in December 2015, it has definitely made a notable contribution to the overall development of economics within and outside of JNU, and will surely continue to do so in the years to come.
