北京大学汇丰商学院金融系助理教授，2020年获香港大学哲学博士（金融学）学位，并应邀成为Beta Gamma Sigma（BGS）协会成员。曾在法国巴黎学习多年，获金融工程及经济心理学双硕士学位，研究领域包括量化金融史、家庭金融、公司金融等，尤其关注影响金融长期发展的根本因素，研究论文发表于Journal of Financial Economics等国际顶级期刊。

Abstract

The key challenge to assessing the legal origins view of financial development is identifying exogenous changes in legal systems. We assemble new data on the British and French concessions in Shanghai between 1845 and 1936. Two regime changes altered the degree to which the British common and French civil law held jurisdiction over their respective concessions. By examining the changing application of different legal traditions to adjacent neighborhoods within the same city, we discover evidence consistent with the legal origins view: the financial development advantage in the British concession widened after Western legal jurisdiction intensified and narrowed after it abated.
