Call for Paper

The 4th Forum on Children of Migrants

Date: June 13th and 14th, 2020

The Institute for Economic and Social Research at Jinan University is organizing a virtual forum on Children of Migrants, which is being held under the theme “the New Challenges faced by children of migrants under the shock of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic” . It is the 4th forum the IESR holds since 2017 and the previous ones create a great platform for researchers and officials. The 4th Forum on Children of Migrants will be held in the morning of June 13th and 14th, 2020. This forum consists of both policy discussions (June 13th) and presentations of research papers (June 14th). We welcome submissions of papers related to children of migrants, including but not limited to migrant children and left behind children’s education, health, human capital, and their families. Research on disadvantaged children is also welcome.

Please submit a complete paper or an extensive abstract to migrantchildren20@163.com for consideration by the organizing committee. Priority will be given to full papers. The presentations should be in English, so only submissions in English are acceptable. The deadline for submissions is June 5th, 2020, midnight Beijing time. Decisions will be sent to submitters by June 9th.
