Xiaoxia Shi is the Lowell and Leila Robinson Distinguished Chair Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She works in econometric theory, with research on inference for moment inequality models, partially identified parameters, nonparametric and semiparametric methods, and model selection. Her papers have been published in leading journals including Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, Review of Economic Studies, Quantitative Economics, and Journal of Econometrics.
