IESR Assistant Professor Jun Hyung Kim’s project entitled Time and Material Inputs in the Skill Production of Left-Behind Children in China has been approved to be funded by the Research Fund for International Young Scientists of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) starting 2022.

Jun Hyung Kim is currently an Assistant Professor at IESR. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. His research fields are applied microeconomics, labor economics, family economics and applied econometrics. His papers have been published in journals such as Journal of Marketing Research, Labor Economics, Social Science & Medicine, etc.
