2021 INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON CONTEMPORARY LABOR ECONOMICS

November 13-14 (Sat-Sun), 2021

We are pleased to announce the 2021 International Symposium on Contemporary Labor Economics at the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE), Xiamen University, China. 

The symposium is jointly organized by WISE of Xiamen University, the Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR) of Jinan University, the Department of Economics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the School of Economics of Zhejiang University. We invite submissions from all areas related to labor economics. Empirical research on or theoretical work with empirical applications to the Chinese labor market is particularly welcome.

Important Dates

The paper submission deadline is Oct 1, 2021.

Decisions of acceptance will be announced by Oct 8, 2021.

Registration deadline:Oct 15, 2021 for presenters; Oct 22, 2021 for audiences.

Registration

The registration fee is 650 RMB for faculty/professional and 320 RMB for students. The registration fee covers up conference materials, meals, and coffee/tea breaks for both days of the conference. Transportation and accommodation are covered by the attendees.
