The Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) recently announced the projects approved to be funded by the National Natural Science Fund starting 2022, after the evaluation of all the proposals submitted during the main application period this year.
Three projects from IESR faculty were funded, of which Associate Prof. Sisi Zhang’s and Associate Prof. Shu Cai’s projects were funded by the NSFC General Programme while Assistant Prof. Zizhong Yan’s project received the NSFC Young Scientist Fund. The total amount of the funding for the three projects reached 1.21 million yuan.
The National Natural Science Fund is China’s largest and most prestigious fund for supporting basic research and applied research in various areas, including economics. The Fund is administered by the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), founded by the State Council and supervised by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.
