Held at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR) at Jinan University, Guangzhou, on November 30, 2019, Urban Economics Workshop attracted a number of scholars from China and abroad to share their latest research that span over a range of areas in urban economics.

Economists came all the way from such universities as the University of California, Riverside, University of International Business and Economics, HKUST, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and others. The workshop involved 4 main sessions that centered on firms, housing, land, & political economy (the detailed program you can find here).
