December 2018 – our Institute's 3rd anniversary! 

The day of December 3rd had started with everyone gathering at the ceremony to commemorate such a special occasion and celebrate all of those who have contributed to the Institute's development over the years – IESR faculty, staff and the students, without whom we would not be where we are today.

The past three years have passed in a blink of an eye since the day of IESR establishment in 2015, and we could not be prouder of what we have achieved in such a short time.

Since then, IESR has witnessed... 

... continuous advaces in economic and social research;

... remarkable progress in survey data collection and the scope of its applications, both within and outside of IESR's economic research;

... emerging capacity of our think tank in terms of the national policymaking on solving most hot-button socio-economic issues in today's China;

... increasing number of IESR students as well as their research potential; 

... significant growth of our national and global network;

... and many more!
