The prominent Kuznets Prize ceremony will take place at the IESR Reception on January 4, 2019. The ceremony will start around 6.30pm and will last about 15 minutes. Fellows of the Journal of Population Economics and Global Labor Organization (GLO) are invited to the ceremony.

The Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR) at Jinan University (Guangzhou China) was founded in December 2015, having Yangtze River Scholar Professor Shuaizhang Feng appointed as the first Dean of the Institute. Our mission is to advance policy-oriented economic and social research addressing most pressing issues in today’s China, hoping to translate our research insights into policy action throughout the country, and therefore, contribute to the overall betterment of our society.
