HCEO–IESR Summer School: Best Paper Competition

2019-07-08

HCEO–IESR Summer School: Best Paper Competition took place in Jinan University, Guangzhou from July 1st to 5th, 2019.

It is already the 4th IESR and HCEO (Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Global Working Group) joint summer program since we have started collaborating in 2016 (Summer School on Socioeconomic Inequality (SSSI) in 2016, 2017; Faculty Training Seminar in 2018).

This year, HCEO Co-Director Steven Durlauf and IESR Dean Shuaizhang Feng joined their forces in co-directing a 5-day Summer School on Socioeconomic Inequality for undergraduate students and the very first "Chicago-Jinan Joint Initiative" Best Paper Competition. In addition, IESR conjointly held a summer camp for students interested in pursuing Master’s degree at our institute.
