Biography:
Manuel Arellano is the Professor of Econometrics at CEMFI, Madrid. He is specialised in econometrics and empirical microeconomics. Many of his research papers have been published in the most influential academic journals. Professor Arellano is best known for co-developing the Arellano–Bond estimator, a widely used GMM estimator for panel data. RePEc lists the paper as the most cited article in economics. Professor Arellano has received many honours during his distinguished career, including the Foreign Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and Clarivate Citation Laureate in Economics. He has also served in many economic societies, such as the president of the Econometric Society, the president of the European Economic Association, and the president of Spanish Economic Association, among others.

Biography:
Stéphane Bonhomme is the Ann L. and Lawrence B. Buttenwieser Professor in Economics and the College at University of Chicago. His research interests are econometrics, microeconometrics, and labour economics. His research has appeared in a variety of top journals, including Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, the Review of Economic Studies, Annals of Statistics, and JRSS-B. Professor Bonhomme is an elected fellow of the Econometric Society. He is currently the associate editor at Journal of Econometrics, and Quantitative Economics.

Biography:
Áureo de Paula is the Professor of Economics at the University College London. His major fields of research interest are microeconometrics and applied microeconomics. Professor de Paula's recent research papers have been published at top economic journals including Econometrica, Review of Economic Studies, Annual Review of Economics, and Journal of Econometrics. Professor de Paula has served as the managing editor of the Review of Economic Studies, and is currently the associate editor of Econometrics Journal and editorial board member of the Review of Economic Studies. Also, Professor de Paula is the fellow of the CEMP at Jinan University.
