Sumit Agarwal


Sumit Agarwal is a Low Tuck Kwong Distinguished Professor of Finance at the Business School and a Professor of Economics and Real Estate at the National University of Singapore. He is also an Editor of Real Estate Economics, and Associate Editor of Management Science and Journal of Financial Services Research. Sumit’s research interests include issues relating to financial institutions, household finance, behavioral finance, international finance, real estate markets and capital markets.

Jie Bai is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University. Her research focuses on microeconomic issues of firms in developing countries and emerging markets.

Steven Neil Durlauf


Steven Neil Durlauf is a professor at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, USA. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. In 2011, he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is currently a co-director of the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Working Group at the University of Chicago. Durlauf is the current Editor of the Journal of Economic Literature.

Jia-ling Han


Jialing Han is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Sociology, Beijing Academy of Social Sciences. Her main research interests are education for migrant children, and rural education. She received China Poverty Eradication Award in 2004.

Yingyao Hu


Yingyao Hu is a Professor of Economics at Johns Hopkins University. He is also an Associate Editor of Econometrics Journal, Econometric Reviews, Frontiers of Economics in China, and Journal of Econometrics. His research interests include Econometrics, Empirical Industrial Organization, Labor Economics, microeconomic models with latent variables, and measurement error models.

Xin Meng is a Professor at The Australian National University, a Fellow of Australian Academy of Social Sciences, and also an Editorial Board member of the Chinese Economic Review. Her research focuses on Chinese labor market, Chinese households, and rural-urban migration in China.

Vincent Yao is the AREA Professor of Real Estate, Associate Professor, Director of Real Estate Center, and Director of the College Ph.D. Program in the Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and a Research Fellow at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
