Harvard Professor Elie Tamer Visits IESR

2018-12-25

Elie Tamer, Louis Berkman Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, Harvard University, had paid a brief but worthwhile visit to our Institute on December 17–19, 2018.

On December 17–18, Professor Tamer led a well-received seminar to IESR faculty  “Inference on Auctions with Weak Assumptions on Information”. More than that, Elie Tamer gave our postgraduate students a very informative lecture series on “Global Sensitivity Analysis in Econometrics”.

The last day of his visit, December 19th, Elie Tamer had an exceptional opportunity to participate in the workshop organized by IESR Center for Econometrics and Microdata Practice (CEMP)and thereby facilitate further research exchange with IESR scholars in the field of econometrics.

We are looking forward to seeing him again in the future!
